The arrangements regarding employers and workers in Turkey are regulated by the LabourCode No. 4857 and the Law No. 5510 on Social Security and General Health Insurance.
The purpose of applicable laws is to regulate the rights and responsibilities of the workers employed by employers on the basis of an employment contract and to protect individuals in terms of social insurance and general health insurance, to determine the benefits and rights to be provided, the conditions for benefiting from these rights and the methods of financing and coverage, and to regulate the principles and procedures regarding the functioning of social insurance and general health insurance.
With these laws, employers have important responsibilities and the working area is expanding considerably.
